Express entry

Canada has one of the best pro-immigration policies of developed nations! With its multicultural society and booming economy, it needs high levels of immigration to meet current and future labour market needs.

If you are a skilled worker with the right experience, skills and background, you might be able to make Canada your permanent home through Express Entry.

Express Entry has taken the waiting out of the immigration process as decisions are made quickly. You are no longer wasting years being unsure of what the future  holds for you and your family, like many generations before you!

However, fast never means easy and a small mistake, even if made unconsciously, can hinder your chances of ever settling in Canada. Others decide to decipher the immigration language themselves and after spending hard earned money on different assessments and tests, they find out they never qualify in the first place.

We at Nilak Immigration have an expert understanding of the rules and the options available for your unique circumstances. Our immigration professional will explain to you the ins and outs and if you are a good candidate for this stream, giving you a light to brighten your path.

Express Entry

In order to immigrate to Canada through Express Entry, you must meet the eligibility of at least one of the below programs.

Express Entry is a 2 step process

step 1: Express Entry Profile

The first step in entering the Express Entry pool of candidates is to make your online Express Entry Profile and enter your information in regards to your age, French or English language proficiency levels, level of education, work history and some family details. The system reviews the information you have provided to determine which category of federal programs you qualify under and assigns you a CRS score (Comprehensive Ranking score) according to your qualification.

Step 2: Invitation to Apply

Every once in a while, there is a draw and depending on how many new applicants the Government of Canada is looking for and under which program, the top candidates with the highest CRS points in the pool are sent an invitation to apply for Permanent Residency.

Once you have received an Invitation to Apply (ITA), you have 60 days to submit a complete application. The entirety of the application is online and you must upload all the documentation that verifies the qualification which you had stated in your Express Entry Profile. You need to provide documents that prove you are eligible under the category of application for which you were invited. You also need to prove each of the factors that contributed points to your score.
